Anime fans in Dubai will soon have a new haven as The Anime Pop Up opens at Wafi City on November 29, 2025, offering officially licensed merchandise from some of Japan’s most popular titles.
Set at the center of the iconic shopping destination, the debut pop-up will carry first-in-the-UAE collectibles from series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Dandadan, Chainsaw Man, The Apothecary Diaries, and Kaiju No. 8. Shoppers can browse a wide selection of items, including detailed Jujutsu Kaisen action figures, Dandadan figural banks, Chainsaw Man-themed night lights, and plush toys inspired by Kaiju No. 8.
To celebrate its launch, organizers will host a special opening event on November 29 featuring a cosplay catwalk where Dubai’s cosplayers will showcase full-scale anime recreations. The program also includes an interactive Kahoot trivia challenge led by local pop-culture community groups.
The Anime Pop Up will remain open at Wafi City, home to more than 250 retail stores, creating a new gathering point for collectors and casual fans looking to explore Japanese pop-culture merchandise.
