BizNext International will also feature strategic consulting, business matching, market entry strategies, cross-cultural training, regulatory support, brand localization, and government liaison services. These offerings will be supported by representatives from various companies, trade missions, and delegations.
Marford Angeles, Consul General of the Philippines in Dubai, will deliver the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of economic diplomacy and highlighting opportunities for bilateral growth between the Philippines and the UAE. “My ‘Next Biz Thing’ is strengthening economic diplomacy by fostering deeper trade and investment linkages between the Philippines and the UAE,” Angeles said.
The Philippines, one of the fastest-growing economies globally, is focused on boosting key sectors and entrepreneurship. In 2024, the country posted a GDP growth of 5.6%, underscoring its economic potential. With a large Filipino community in the UAE, many are now looking to establish their own businesses in the Emirates.
Rolly Brucales, Managing Director of Off The Hook Group, expressed excitement for the summit, sharing his eagerness to help Filipino entrepreneurs succeed. “Nothing would make us prouder and happier than to see our countrymen succeed in their entrepreneurial journey,” Brucales said, echoing the sentiment of Sam Martin, Managing Director of Reel Dunes, who also emphasized Filipino entrepreneurial talent.
The BizNext International Summit is organized in partnership with the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, IFZA, and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center–Dubai, and is hosted by Off The Hook Seafood Restaurant, FranBrand Solutions, Opsider, and Reel Dunes Productions.
