Dubai Coffee Festival draws over 10,000 visitors in first week

The inaugural Dubai Coffee Festival has attracted more than 10,000 visitors in its opening week since kicking off on October 11 at Dubai Festival City. With a variety of activities, competitions, and workshops, the festival has quickly become a hub for coffee enthusiasts, families, and food lovers.

Mr. Khalid Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President of DXB LIVE, shared the significance of the event, saying, “The Dubai Coffee Festival represents more than just an event—it’s a celebration of coffee culture in all its forms. From showcasing the artistry behind a perfect brew to offering a space for coffee lovers to connect, this festival has quickly become a landmark event for our city.”

The festival has already featured exciting competitions such as the Latte Art Throwdown, with participants competing for prizes, including a AED 3,000 gift card from Al-Futtaim and AED 1,000 from Earth Roastery. Looking ahead, the Coffee Desk Fellow Championship on October 18 will see Dubai’s top baristas vie for a grand prize of AED 10,000 in cash and a AED 3,000 Al-Futtaim gift card.

Interactive workshops are also a key highlight, offering activities like Coffee Painting, Coffee Bean Mosaics, and Coffee-Scented Candle Making. Families can enjoy creative experiences while also exploring the Dubai Coffee Museum’s immersive exhibit on coffee’s global history.

With cooler evenings, the festival is an ideal outdoor experience, free for all to attend. Visitors can explore coffee-inspired art, try their hand at coffee-related crafts, and even participate in the Blue Rewards game, where winners can claim part of a million Blue Rewards points.

The Dubai Coffee Festival promises even more to come, running throughout October and offering a perfect blend of coffee culture, competition, and entertainment for all.
