Dubai Airshow 2023, the most anticipated event in the international aerospace calendar, is set to open its doors to aviation industry professionals from November 13 to 17 at the DWC, Airshow Site. This year’s event promises to be the largest and most significant edition to date.
While the Airshow itself is exclusive to industry professionals, the public has a unique opportunity to witness the thrilling flying displays, a key highlight of this biennial event. These displays, featuring some of the world’s most skilled aerobatic teams, will take place daily at 2pm, with details announced each morning. Notably, the Italian Air Force’s Frecce Tricolori, UAE’s Fursan Al Emarat, the Indian Air Force’s Sarang team, and the Chinese Air Force’s August 1st team are among the participants.
Skyview, the designated viewing area, not only offers a view of these spectacular displays but also hosts live entertainment, a picnic area, and various food stalls. Entry to Skyview is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The arena will also feature appearances by pilots and astronauts, allowing for engaging meet and greet sessions.
Beyond the aerial acrobatics, Dubai Airshow 2023 is a hub for major announcements and discussions in the aviation industry, with over 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries and a wide array of aircraft on display. This includes cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft and helicopters.
Attendees are encouraged to use public transport, with free shuttle buses provided from Ibn Battuta metro station to the event site. While industry professionals can access the full event with a visitor badge priced at Dh366, the general public is welcome to enjoy the flying displays and the Skyview Grandstand Arena from 1pm to 5.30pm daily.
