The Outstanding Filipino (TOFIL) Laureate of 2024, Dr. Carl E. Balita, is set to bring his signature leadership and personal development insights to the UAE through a special lecture-workshop titled Personal Branding: Roadmapping 2026. The event will take place on November 15 at 1 PM in Abu Dhabi.
A registered nurse, registered midwife, licensed professional teacher, bestselling author, entrepreneur and founder of the internationally recognized Dr. Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC), Balita has built a decades-long reputation as an educator and mentor to professionals across various fields. His work includes leading ISO-certified review programs and hosting business-oriented radio and TV shows.
Joining him is his daughter, Atty. Lyca Balita, a young lawyer who passed the 2022 Philippine Bar Examination and specializes in intellectual property. She will speak on success and succession, contributing a legal perspective to building and protecting one’s personal brand.
Life coach and leadership strategist Marlon Robel, known for more than 25 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs, will participate as a mentor for attendees working to strengthen values-based branding and career clarity.
Also sharing the stage is multi-awarded Filipino journalist Rachel Salinel, celebrated in the UAE for her reporting on global Filipino communities. Salinel was recently recognized among the “10 OFWs of the Year” in the UAE and continues to amplify Filipino stories across borders through her work.
The one-day session aims to guide professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders in understanding their identity, communicating their strengths, and planning a meaningful trajectory toward 2026 and beyond.
