In an official statement issued by his legal representatives at Fernandez & Singson Law Offices, Dominic Roque has addressed various issues raised against him by Cristy Fermin on her vlogs.
The statement strongly condemned what it described as “malicious and defamatory public statements” made by Fermin, alleging they were presented as entertainment news without any attempt to verify the claims with Roque himself.
Among the clarifications provided, Roque confirmed leasing a condo unit owned by Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos but denied any implication of the mayor being a “benefactor.” He expressed apologies to Mayor Jalosjos and his family for their involvement in the public discourse fueled by Fermin’s remarks.
Additionally, the statement addressed an allusion made by Fermin regarding Congressman Bong Suntay, refuting any insinuations regarding Suntay’s sexuality.
Roque also clarified that he does not own a Clean Fuel gas station, debunking another claim made by Fermin. Furthermore, he denied any disagreements with Bea Alonzo over a prenuptial agreement, labeling such assertions as unfounded speculation aimed at tarnishing their images.
Earlier this month, Alonzo and Roque confirmed their breakup after initially planning to wed this year. Roque had defended Alonzo against public criticism following their separation announcement.
