DMW to roll out online contract verification platform to Saudi Arabia and more regions

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is preparing to widen the reach of its Online Employment Contract Verification System (OECVS), with Saudi Arabia and two additional locations next in line for deployment, following early results from its pilot phase in Dubai.

The agency said the system will also go live in Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong within the first quarter of 2026, marking a significant expansion beyond its initial testing environment. From there, further availability is planned across Singapore, other parts of the Middle East, Europe, and several Asian destinations in the latter half of the year.

“Originally tested in Migrant Workers Office-Dubai, the system aims to streamline employment contract verification, reduce processing time, eliminate manual steps, and protect data privacy,” the DMW said.

The broader rollout is being carried out under a memorandum of agreement between Department of Migrant Workers and DataFlow Group, which formalized the development and international deployment of the platform.

“This marks the global launch of the Online Employment Contract Verification System, which is a fully digital platform that enables overseas Filipino workers to submit, pay for, and download verified employment contracts online,” the DMW said.

Since its launch in Dubai, the platform has processed more than 30,000 employment contracts for overseas Filipino workers, translating to nearly AED 2 million in savings and an estimated 137,500 hours of time saved since July 2025.
