Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac personally visited a Filipino worker confined in a Dubai hospital, reaffirming the Philippine government’s strong commitment to stand with overseas Filipinos in times of illness and hardship.
Before leaving the patient’s room, he led a prayer for the OFW, the attending doctor, and the worker’s family. He later met with the supervising physician, who shared updates on the patient’s condition, upcoming medical needs, and possible readiness for repatriation.
Joining the Secretary were Undersecretary Jainal T. Rasul, Migrant Workers Office-Dubai officials led by Labor Attaché John Rio Bautista, and representatives from the Overseas Welfare Office-Dubai headed by Welfare Officer Esperanza Cobarrubias.
