Residents of Discovery Gardens will soon see changes to how vehicles are managed within the community, as Dubai Holding Community Management prepares to introduce a regulated parking system early next year.
The new parking framework, operated by Parkonic, is scheduled to go live on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Ahead of the launch, parking zone signages are set to be installed across the area, with groundwork beginning this week.
Under the revised setup, residential buildings that do not have dedicated parking facilities will be entitled to one free parking permit per unit. Households with more than one vehicle, however, will need to secure paid subscriptions for any additional cars.
The application process will be rolled out in phases. Registration for residential parking permits will open on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, with residents required to complete their details through the Parkonic tenant registration portal to activate access.
Subscriptions for paid parking will become available starting Friday, January 9, 2026, and can be processed via the Parkonic website or its mobile application. Dubai Holding Community Management noted that permits will be issued strictly on a per-unit basis and not per individual.
