‘Di naman ako nasaktan’: SB19’s Stell addresses face-shaming comments on social media

Pop idol Stell Ajero from the boy group SB19 has addressed the recent unprovoked “face-shaming” comments made by content creator Stella Salle on social media.

At around 1 a.m. on June 1, 2024, Stell went live on TikTok to connect with his followers and discuss the controversy. During the short livestream, Stell reassured fans that he was unaffected by the remarks.

“Yung mga taong iniisip or nagtatanong kung okey lang ako. Don’t worry guys, I’m okay. Sobrang busy lang talaga,” Stell said, confirming his well-being. He added, “‘Tsaka di naman ako nasaktan, to be honest.”

Rather than taking offense, Stell chose to focus on the positive side and even joked about the “face-shaming” remark. “‘Tsaka sabi nila, di ba? Pag marami kang basher, ibig sabihin, sikat ka na! Boom, sikat. Hindi, joke lang!” he quipped, displaying his lighthearted attitude. “Tsaka ba’t ako masasaktan, di naman totoo. Joke!”

Stella Salle faced backlash a week prior for her derogatory comments about Stell’s appearance.
