Derek Ramsay has spoken up to end speculation about his marriage with Ellen Adarna after a blind item circulated online.
The actor addressed the issue through an Instagram Story on Monday, clarifying that the claims made by controversial personality Xian Gaza were baseless. “Good morning guys so there’s this issue about this Mr. Xian Gaza. I’ll just keep this very simple: there’s no truth to anything that was said. That’s it. That’s all I have,” Ramsay said.
The controversy began when Gaza posted a blind item on Facebook about a so-called “billionaire peso guy” and a “famous celebrity girl,” fueling talk about alleged marital troubles. He added cryptic references to John Lloyd Cruz, Ellen’s former partner, and even linked Derek to his role as “Mark” in the popular film One More Chance.
Ellen Adarna also weighed in, taking playful jabs at the blind item through a series of Instagram Stories. Mocking the mention of “billions,” she quipped, “Billions, oh god, billions. Ang anino ng billions na nakikita ko ay sa flood control lang.”
She further defended Cruz while poking fun at Gaza’s comments about endorsements. “Pa biogesic nga sakit sa ulo loooll,” she said, adding, “Wag mo ismolin si Biogesic just because simple lang siya. Ikaw you don’t know, but ang assets nun, I know. You know.”
Adarna also reminded critics not to twist facts, stressing, “And kung maki-Marites naman lang, at least get everything right, everything.”
