Actor Derek Ramsay is taking time for himself in Bali, Indonesia, where he is currently on a wellness retreat, choosing to focus on “stripping away the noise” despite persistent rumors about his marriage with actress Ellen Adarna.
The 47-year-old star shared snippets of his stay at Kami No Ken Bali on Instagram, posting a reel of his workout sessions and yoga training. Alongside the video, he wrote: “Stripping away the noise, reconnecting with myself. This experience is a reset for the soul, body, and mind. I was tested beyond comfort and pushed past my limits. At Kaminoken Bali, the body endures, the mind sharpens, and the spirit hardens.”
His social media updates suggest that he has been away from home for about a week. Still, Ramsay assured that he remains connected with family, posting a screenshot of his video call with his son Liana, captioned, “Papa will be home soon.”
The retreat comes as online chatter about his supposed split with Adarna resurfaces, a claim the couple has repeatedly dismissed in the past. Just earlier this year, Ramsay laughed off false reports of annulment, pointing out the baseless nature of the speculation.
Veteran broadcaster Cristy Fermin also defended the couple, stressing on her program that the two are still together. “Wala pong katotohanan ito. Hindi po totoo ‘tong mga kuwentong lumalaganap na ito. Maayos sila,” she said, praising how both Ramsay and Adarna manage their relationship.
The two tied the knot in November 2021 in Bataan and had their child baptized in February 2024. For now, neither Ramsay nor Adarna has made any public statement about the latest wave of breakup rumors.
