The decomposing body of an 8-year-old girl was discovered inside a sack in Taytay, Rizal. According to a report by Super Radyo DZBB on Friday, the girl’s mother, Rylai Kaye Barrun, initially thought her daughter was resting in their room around 6 p.m. on September 11.
However, by 8 p.m., the family grew concerned when the child was still missing. They searched the neighborhood and asked if anyone had seen her.
CCTV footage later revealed that the girl was playing with neighbors around 6:30 p.m. that evening.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Gaylor Pagala confirmed that residents of Lupang Arenda found a sack containing the girl’s body. Authorities are conducting an investigation to identify those responsible for the crime.
