December Avenue, a prominent alternative rock band from Manila, is set to electrify the stage at the EarthSoul Festival, which will be held from December 8-10 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
The event stands as Dubai’s inaugural eco-conscious music festival, underscoring the UAE’s dedication to sustainability and marine conservation, with a strong emphasis on battling plastic pollution.
The three-day musical and art extravaganza will feature over 20 international and multi-genre artists. Among them are Benny Dayal, the Indian singing sensation behind hits like ‘Badtameez Dil’; Anne Marie, the English popstar with chartbusters such as ‘2002’ and ‘Friends’; and Mustafa Ceceli, the Turkish star known for ‘Maşallah’. Emirati artist Arqam Al Abri, a Dubai resident who champions timeless values in his songs, expressed his honor in representing the UAE at this pivotal event.
“I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to craft a truly unforgettable experience in this celebration of Earth, art, and music,” he remarked.
The festival’s lineup also boasts performances by Hardrock supergroup Girish and the Chronicles, Funktuation, Nouaman Belaiachi, Punjabi Star Riar Saab, and several others.
Pragna Vaya, the Managing Director at Orbit Events and the festival’s organizer, emphasized the importance of the event: “The Festival highlights our shared aspiration for a greener and more sustainable world. It’s a call to action for all of us to unite, contribute, and pave the way for a brighter future through the power of music and art.”
Attendees can also expect to see upcycled art and decor installations by global artists, an ‘Oceans of Change’ themed University Art Contest, an Eco Village, and various panel discussions and workshops.
