UAE residents are gearing up for two extended weekends this year, thanks to significant public holidays.
The first is in honor of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday, projected to be on September 27.
The official public holiday to mark this revered occasion is expected to be on Friday, September 29, contingent on Moon sightings.
Since this falls on a Friday, residents will enjoy a three-day weekend alongside the regular Saturday and Sunday off.
Additionally, the nation will celebrate the UAE National Day on December 2-3. This day commemorates the formation of the country. With December 2 landing on a Friday this year, it means yet another long weekend for the residents.
Both holidays provide a wonderful chance for UAE residents and expats to bond with family and friends, delve into the rich cultural heritage of the nation, and engage in numerous events and activities.
