Famed Turkish chef and social media sensation Burak Özdemir, better known as CZN Burak, has officially ended all business operations in Dubai.
In a video statement posted to his Instagram account, Özdemir made a direct and final declaration: “I no longer have any legal or business ties with any company in Dubai.” The announcement, made in September 2025, marks the end of his culinary footprint in the UAE, where his restaurant had become a magnet for both tourists and residents.
The closure brings down the curtain on CZN Burak Dubai, the chef’s prominent restaurant at Boulevard Point on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Known for its prime location with unobstructed views of the Burj Khalifa, the eatery offered both indoor and terrace dining. Its menu, featuring over 150 dishes, was a rich fusion of Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine, reflecting Özdemir’s heritage and culinary style.
CZN Burak rose to international fame through viral videos on TikTok and Instagram, where he showcased massive meat dishes—often prepared with dramatic flair and served with his now-iconic unwavering smile. His Dubai restaurant mirrored that same spectacle, drawing celebrity visitors, influencers, and curious foodies alike.
