Customs rolls out online tracker for nationwide balikbayan box deliveries

Families expecting balikbayan boxes from overseas Filipino workers can now monitor shipments through a new online portal launched by the Bureau of Customs. The tracking page allows beneficiaries to check delivery progress tied to door-to-door distribution across the country.

According to the bureau, users may visit https://customs.gov.ph/home/overseas-filipino-worker-ofw/

to view shipment details linked to their consignments. The system displays reference information such as the bill of lading and container number, identifies the consolidator and de-consolidator, lists the country of origin, and shows the current delivery status.

The bureau also clarified that recipients are not required to pay any fees for the release or delivery of the boxes. It said the portal is updated continuously as rollouts proceed to different areas.

For questions or concerns specific to balikbayan shipments, the public has been advised to contact the bureau via email at bayanibox@customs.gov.ph

.

Customs earlier announced plans to carry out door-to-door distribution following guidance from Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, as part of efforts to clear a large volume of boxes sent by OFWs.

The delivery initiative forms part of directives from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to release around 130,000 balikbayan boxes intended for OFWs and their families.
