Residents in the UAE can look forward to a respite from the heat as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts a slight dip in temperatures and potential rainfall in some western areas. Today’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers due to the formation of cumulus clouds.
With winter approaching, the NCM forecasts a gradual decrease in temperatures, particularly in the western regions of the UAE. Mountainous areas may experience cooler weather, with temperatures ranging between 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. Inland regions are also set to feel the cool down, with expected temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees Celsius.
The evening hours may bring increased humidity, with this condition extending into Saturday morning. There is also the possibility of fog formation during this time. While winds are anticipated to remain light to moderate across the UAE, they could pick up enough strength to lift dust in certain areas.
Marine forecasts indicate calm seas for the most part. The Sea of Oman is set to experience light waves, while the Arabian Gulf will have light to moderate wave conditions.
