During a recent press event in Seoul, South Korea, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds couldn’t contain their laughter while being interviewed by Filipino YouTubers Cong TV and Donny Pangilinan. The interview, part of a fan meet for their upcoming film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” was shared on YouTube by Marvel Philippines.
As Cong TV and Donny prepared for the interview, Cong humorously remarked that the Hollywood stars should be the ones feeling nervous. “Ready na ba sila sa amin? Sila dapat ‘yung kabahan kasi hindi nila kami kilala eh,” he joked. “Hindi nila alam ‘yung tatanungin namin eh.”
In a sneak peek of the interview, Cong posed an unexpected question to Jackman and Reynolds: “In the trailer, you fight a lot, why?” The question led to both actors bursting into laughter, highlighting the lighthearted nature of the interaction.
Cong and Donny also shared a selfie with Jackman and Reynolds, sparking excitement among netizens who commented, “Sana all.”
Directed by Shawn Levy, “Deadpool & Wolverine” will see Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool (Reynolds), team up with Wolverine (Jackman) to defeat a common enemy. The film will feature Jennifer Garner reprising her role as the assassin Elektra.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is the third installment in the “Deadpool” series and the first to be produced by Marvel Studios, following the previous two films released by 20th Century Fox. The movie is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on July 24.
