Chris Evans, renowned for his role as Captain America, confirmed he has married “Warrior Nun” actress Alba Baptista. And to the surprise of many, they celebrated their union not once but twice.
Evans gleefully recounted the marital journey, stating, “We kind of had two ceremonies on the East Coast. We did one in Portugal. My wife is Portuguese. They were wonderful and beautiful.”
Photos by Entertainment Tonight showcased a jubilant Evans, his gold wedding band in clear view, symbolizing his new chapter in life. Reflecting on the wedding preparation, Evans mentioned the well-known stress associated with wedding planning. Yet, now that it’s behind them, he shared, “we’ve kinda just been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn.”
The private Boston, Massachusetts ceremony, described as “locked down tight” by Page Six, was graced by the presence of fellow Marvel stars like Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, and their respective spouses. Friends John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were also in attendance. A subsequent ceremony took place in Portugal, witnessed by Baptista’s family.
While news of their romance first emerged in November 2022, the couple confirmed their relationship on Instagram in January 2023. Rumors suggested that their relationship had been blossoming for over a year before the official reveal.
