Muhammad Ayan Youni, a child of determination, has been recognized by the Dubai Tourist Police for his act of honesty after he returned a lost watch he found in a public tourist area. According to a Khaleej Times report, Muhammad was walking with his father when he discovered the watch, which had been reported lost by a tourist before returning to his home country.
Acting on directives from Brigadier Harib Al Shamsi of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, a ceremony was organized to honor Muhammad’s integrity. Following the event, Dubai authorities contacted the owner of the watch and arranged to send it back to him.
The grateful tourist expressed his immense satisfaction with Dubai’s high security standards and the integrity of its residents. This incident mirrors a similar event from 2022 when a five-year-old Filipino expat, Nigel Ners, was recognized for returning Dh4,000 he found, showcasing the consistent ethical standards upheld by individuals in Dubai.
