Entrepreneur and former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson is celebrating his birthday this month by giving away a total of P7 million through an online raffle.
In a video posted on his official Facebook page, Singson announced the giveaway and showed proof that he had deposited the funds for the raffle. The raffle will see around 600 individuals winning P10,000 each, and one lucky person taking home P1 million.
“This year, magpaparaffle ako ng P7 million. Ipapakita ko sa screen, naka-live: P6 million na tig-P10,000, plus ‘yung isang P1 million, so P7 million lahat,” Singson said in the video.
To participate, interested individuals must download and sign up for an account on the e-Gracia app, a digital wallet that allows users to send money, pay bills, reload mobile phone credits, and top-up virtual wallets. Additionally, participants are required to upload a selfie wearing their best sunglasses in the style of Singson.
The raffle will be conducted live and streamed online on Singson’s birthday, June 21. The prizes will be distributed through the e-Gracia app. “Doon namin papadala ‘yung premyo para hindi pumunta sa ibang tao,” Singson explained, adding that winners can withdraw the money from any bank using the app.
