Cebu Pacific extends Middle East flight cancellations through March 12

Passengers with upcoming Cebu Pacific flights to Dubai and Riyadh face further disruptions as the budget carrier announced a fresh round of cancellations tied to the ongoing conflict in the region.

The airline’s seventh advisory on the matter, released Sunday afternoon, listed affected routes spanning March 9 to 12. Flights between Manila and Dubai on March 10 and 11 have been scrapped, along with both legs of the Manila-Riyadh service across the same period.

The cancellations come as the US-Israel war on Iran enters its second week, with Iranian retaliatory strikes continuing to hit Gulf states and airspace across much of the Middle East remaining restricted or closed. The UAE has only recently begun resuming limited commercial flights.

Cebu Pacific said it is offering free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion to travelers holding Dubai and Riyadh bookings through March 18. Those options can be accessed via the airline’s Manage Booking portal no later than two hours before the scheduled departure time.

The carrier urged passengers to monitor flight status updates on its website and official social media pages, noting that additional schedule changes remain possible as the security situation develops.

Cebu Pacific identified the safety of its passengers, crew, and ground personnel as the primary basis for the operational decisions.
