This morning, July 12, a Cebu Pacific Air A-321 aircraft slightly swerved onto the grassy portion of the taxiway while being repositioned from Bay 111 to Bay 122A at Naia Terminal 3, according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA). No passengers or crew were onboard during the incident.
The MIAA aircraft recovery team is currently working to remove the plane. Due to the incident, Bays 110-112 at Naia Terminal 3 are temporarily unavailable, leaving only three parking bays for wide-body aircraft in use. Passengers are advised to expect potential flight delays and to await further advisories from their respective airlines regarding revised flight schedules.
