Catriona Gray announced as backstage correspondent at 72nd Miss Universe pageant

The 72nd Miss Universe pageant, set to be held in El Salvador on November 19, will feature an all-female hosting lineup.

The star-studded team includes former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, TV hosts Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Maria Menounos, with Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall as backstage correspondents.

The event will be aired live and promises a dynamic showcase of talents, with Spanish-language coverage by Telemundo, which adds TV stars Jacqueline Bracamontes, Danilo Carrera, and beauty queens Andrea Meza and Julia Gama to the mix.

MOU President Paula Shugart expressed enthusiasm for the chosen hosts, praising their blend of humor, talent, and knowledge.

Catriona, Miss Universe 2018 from the Philippines, shared her excitement on Instagram about returning as host.

Olivia lauded the organization’s progressive steps, including its first-ever female ownership.

The competition will see Michelle Dee representing the Philippines, as more than 90 contestants vie for the prestigious title.
