OPM singer Juan Karlos (JK) said that the case filed against him by Darren Espanto’s mother has been dismissed. The singer, speaking ahead of his upcoming SM Mall of Asia Arena concert, expressed relief and emphasized that many aspects of the situation had been blown out of proportion.
JK explained in a PhilStar report that the incident became larger than necessary, with people making assumptions without understanding the full context. He mentioned that he is now focusing on what he can control, rather than stressing over public opinions.
When asked about his current relationship with Darren, JK declined to comment but shared that he remains open to collaborations. He added, “Love is what matters most.”
JK will celebrate his 10th anniversary in the industry with his first major concert, “Juan Karlos LIVE,” on November 29, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The event is produced by Nathan Studios and directed by Paolo Valenciano. Ticket prices start at P750 for General Admission and go up to P8,500 for SVIP, which includes special perks.
JK is best known for his hit songs like “Demonyo,” “Buwan,” and “Ere.”
