Olympic gymnast Carlos Yulo has called on the public to focus on the achievements and efforts of Filipino athletes competing in the Paris Olympics, rather than his personal family matters.
In a recent interview with GMA News’ “24 Oras,” Yulo addressed the press conference held by his mother last Thursday, stating that he had long forgiven her.
Yulo, who has won two gold medals in the Olympics, emphasized the importance of celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of his fellow athletes.
Yulo’s mother, Angelica, had earlier apologized and expressed her hope for reconciliation. However, Yulo prefers to keep the focus on the ongoing Olympic competition and the athletes representing the Philippines.
