Carlos Yulo to receive house and lot from Century Properties Group worth P6 million

Century Properties Group (CPG) has announced that it is awarding two-time Paris Olympics gold medalist Carlos Yulo with a house and lot package. This gesture is to honor his exceptional achievements and bring pride to the Philippines.

In their press release, CPG revealed that Yulo will receive a house and lot at their PHirst Editions Batulao project in Nasugbu, Batangas. The home, aptly named Charles, is valued at P6.0 million.

Jose E.B. Antonio, the executive chairman of CPG, expressed the company’s gratitude and congratulations to Yulo, stating, “On behalf of PHirst and the entire Century Properties Group, we extend our sincerest gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to Carlos Yulo for his historic double gold in the Olympics, bringing pride to the Philippines.” He also acknowledged the efforts of Cynthia Carreon, President of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, for her guidance and support of Yulo.

This is the second instance where CPG has awarded a house and lot to a Filipino Olympic gold medalist. In 2021, the company rewarded Hidilyn Diaz with a similar package following her historic win as the Philippines’ first-ever Olympic gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Yulo, celebrated as the “Golden Boy” of Philippine sports, has received numerous rewards following his victories. His incentives include P20 million from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and a pledge from the Philippine Olympic Committee for a house and lot, similar to the rewards given to the Philippines’ medalists in the Tokyo Olympics.

Further, the House of Representatives is set to award Yulo at least P6 million, and the City of Manila will provide an additional P2 million along with a homecoming parade.

Additionally, Megaworld Corp. announced that it has upgraded its reward for Yulo, offering him a three-bedroom unit in one of its premier residential properties in McKinley Hill, Taguig City, plus a P3-million cash bonus for his remarkable achievement as the first Filipino athlete to secure two Olympic gold medals.
