A Carlos Yulo impersonator emerged victorious in the return of “Kalokalike Face 4,” the popular impersonation contest segment on the Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime,” which aired on Monday.
Andres Santos, from Marikina City, wowed the judges with his rendition of the “Maybe This Time” dance craze. His performance earned him unanimous approval from the panel, which included Bianca Umali, Rufa Mae Quinto, and Jugs and Teddy.
Santos outperformed other contestants, including impersonators of Chloe San Jose, Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, and Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid.
“Kalokalike” originally debuted in 2012 and continued for three seasons until 2015. The contest features participants impersonating famous personalities, with previous winners including Jonahan Garcia as Christopher de Leon, Jennifer Catuyong as Nicki Minaj, and Daniel Aliermo as Vice Ganda. The show’s much-anticipated fourth season was announced over the weekend.
