Can’t attend Simbang Gabi in Dubai in person? Here’s where to watch the Mass live

Filipino Catholics who are unable to attend the Simbang Gabi celebrations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in person can still take part through a live online broadcast.

The Simbang Gabi Masses being held as part of Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle’s pastoral visit to the United Arab Emirates will be streamed live on Facebook via the page SMCCFilipino, allowing overseas Filipinos and viewers abroad to join the traditional pre-Christmas devotion virtually.

The livestream coverage coincides with the Simbang Gabi celebrations drawing large crowds on the ground, including more than 20,000 churchgoers who attended the opening night in Dubai. Cardinal Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization – Section for the First Evangelization and the New Particular Churches, is scheduled to preside over the Simbang Gabi Mass in Dubai on December 16 at 8 p.m., followed by the celebration in Abu Dhabi on December 17 at 8 p.m., according to the Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia.

Simbang Gabi remains a deeply meaningful religious and cultural tradition for Filipinos, particularly overseas Filipino workers in the Gulf.
