Cancer patients from two Camarines Sur localities can now access free chemotherapy services in Naga City after We Hope Medical Group formalized agreements with the local governments of Iriga City and the Municipality of Pasacao.
Under the deals signed with Iriga City Mayor Rex Oliva and Pasacao Mayor Nino Tayco, qualified residents from both areas may now seek treatment at Beacon of Hope Naga, a chemotherapy facility operated by We Hope Medical Group in Naga City. PhilHealth members and indigent patients who meet eligibility requirements are covered under the arrangement.
We Hope Medical Group chairman and CEO Dr. John Paul Aclan said the agreements reflect the company’s broader push to reach underserved communities through government partnerships. “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to uplifting communities through accessible, free, dignified healthcare,” he said. “By partnering with Mayor Rex Oliva and Mayor Nino Tayco, we are reinforcing our pledge to deliver medical services that empower patients and foster a healthier future for Bicolanos.”
Beacon of Hope Naga positions itself as a facility built around holistic care, with its approach extending to the emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of a patient’s recovery alongside clinical treatment. The center is staffed by licensed medical professionals and operates under coverage provided through PhilHealth and the Universal Health Care Act.
Beyond chemotherapy, We Hope Medical Group has established a range of health service verticals for local government units across the region, including eye centers, dialysis facilities, laboratories, diagnostics centers, physical therapy and occupational therapy rehabilitation centers, and addiction rehabilitation programs.
