As the UAE and the Philippines commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations, 25 exceptional artworks will be exhibited at the World Trade Center during the Kalayaan 2024 Philippine Independence Day Celebration on June 9, 2024. The event’s theme is “Shaping Tomorrow: 50 Years of Shared Stories.”
In collaboration with Kalayaan 2024, Emirates Loves Philippines, and Infinite Communities, the FilArts Guild in the Emirates invites Filipino artists to share their unique perspectives on the lives of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the UAE and the enduring relationship between the UAE and the Philippines. The aim is to illustrate through art how the UAE has transformed the lives of Filipinos, showcasing resilience, hope, and cultural exchange.
