Burj Khalifa’s New Year fireworks show introduces paid tickets for prime viewing

Emaar Properties announced that those wishing to enjoy a front-row view of the Burj Khalifa’s iconic New Year’s Eve fireworks from Burj Park will now need to purchase tickets.

Previously, the New Year’s Eve celebration was open to all, but this change introduces a unique ticketed viewing experience. Adults will be charged Dh300, while children aged between 5 and 12 will need tickets priced at Dh150. Admission for children under 5 remains free.

Tickets will be available for purchase from Platinumlist starting November 10. Attendees are required to collect their badges between December 26-30, from 2 pm to 10 pm at designated locations including Dubai Mall, Dubai Hills Mall, and Dubai Marina Mall. This badge collection is crucial as it grants access to specific areas in Burj Park.

Ticket holders are promised not only a spectacular view of the fireworks but also a meal from assigned food stalls, two drinks, and access to a variety of food trucks, stalls, live performances, and other amenities. Gates to Burj Park will open at 4 pm on December 31.

Emaar’s New Year’s Eve celebration at the Burj Khalifa is a global phenomenon, attracting millions of viewers on-site and from around the world through television broadcasts. The show has become a magnet for international visitors, with thousands flocking to Burj Park early in the day to secure a prime viewing spot.

In a statement, an Emaar spokesperson expressed, “Our vision for Emaar New Year’s Eve is to not only replicate past celebrations but to elevate them. Offering an exclusive viewing experience at Burj Park underscores our dedication to crafting unforgettable moments for all attendees.”
