BTS member Suga has been fined 15 million Won (approximately ₱632,000) for driving an electric scooter while intoxicated. A Seoul Western Court judge imposed the fine following the incident.
In August, Suga publicly apologized for his actions, expressing regret for riding the scooter after consuming alcohol at dinner. He explained that he believed the short distance to his home made it acceptable, but he failed to realize that operating an electric scooter under the influence is illegal.
Suga admitted to falling while parking the scooter, leading to a breathalyzer test, which resulted in the cancellation of his license. Though there were no injuries or damage, the rapper took full responsibility and apologized for his “careless and wrong actions,” vowing to be more mindful in the future.
