Jungkook, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, will release a new song dedicated to his fans this week, his agency announced late Sunday.
In a notice on the fan community app WeVerse, BigHit Music revealed that the 26-year-old singer will release the song titled “Never Let Go” on June 7. According to BigHit, the track is a “heartfelt tribute to Jungkook’s fans encapsulating the message ‘to never let go of each other’s hands.'” The agency described the song as a token of gratitude for the immense love and support from ARMY (BTS fans) worldwide.
The release of “Never Let Go” coincides with the upcoming 11th anniversary of BTS’ debut on June 13, which will be celebrated with an in-person event hosted by Jin, the first group member set to complete his mandatory military service.
“Never Let Go” follows a series of solo projects by BTS members as they fulfill their military duties. Jungkook, who enlisted last December, released his debut studio album “Golden” in November, featuring singles like “Standing Next To You,” “3D,” and “Seven.”
