Abu Dhabi is gearing up for an electrifying night as superstar singer Bryan Adams is set to perform at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Thursday, December 19.
Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Bryan Adams began his musical journey at a young age. He purchased his first electric guitar at 12 and eventually left school to join the band Shock. His self-titled debut album was released in 1980, and he quickly gained fame with hit songs such as “Summer of ’69,” “Run Free,” and “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You.”
Adams’ major breakthrough came in 1991 with his contribution to the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves soundtrack. The power ballad “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” topped the UK Singles Chart for 16 weeks and sold over 15 million copies worldwide. Interestingly, the song was written in just one hour.
Throughout his career, Bryan Adams has received numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award, and has been inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has also been nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
Adams’ concert in Abu Dhabi will mark the opening of the World Tennis League 2024 in the capital. Previous editions of the championship have featured performers like Ne-Yo, 50 Cent, and Armin van Burren. With Bryan Adams taking the stage, the evening promises to be unforgettable.
Tickets for the concert go on sale at 3 pm today, June 28. Don’t miss the chance to see this music legend live in action.
