Senator Bong Go emerged as the most trusted and approved senator in the latest Pahayag 2025 second quarter survey by Publicus Asia, Inc., expressing gratitude and a renewed commitment to serve the Filipino people, especially the underprivileged.
“Thank you for the trust that you’ve been giving to a Batangueño, Visayan, and a Mindanaoan like me. I will not waste the opportunity that you’ve given me to serve,” Go said in a statement, as he promised to continue championing the needs of ordinary Filipinos. “I will work for the betterment of the nation, and I will fight for the welfare of the Filipinos, especially the poor.”
The survey, conducted from June 27 to 30, showed Go garnering a 36 percent approval rating—solidifying his position at the top. Publicus noted his consistent rise over the past year, from 18 percent in the third quarter of 2024 (ranking fourth), to 21 percent in the fourth quarter (tied for third), and 31 percent in the first quarter of 2025 when he first topped the list.
In terms of trust, Go also claimed the highest spot with a 35 percent rating in the second quarter of 2025.
Publicus observed that Go’s popularity further surged as the 19th Congress concluded and the campaign season for the May 2025 midterm elections began.
