With less than a month before the May 12 polls, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go remains the top choice among Filipino voters, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey released Monday.
Go, who is running under PDP-Laban, secured the number one spot in the senatorial race with 62.2 percent of respondents saying they would vote for him. The survey was conducted from April 20 to 24, 2025, with 2,400 respondents nationwide.
Tied closely behind him in the 2nd to 4th ranks were ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo (42.4 percent), former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III (41.1 percent), and Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa (41.0 percent).
Completing the group of 14 candidates with a statistical chance of winning were Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., former Senator Panfilo Lacson, broadcaster Ben Tulfo, Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid, Makati Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Pia Cayetano, TV host Willie Revillame, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, and former Senator Bam Aquino.
Pulse Asia highlighted that most of these frontrunners are either current or former lawmakers affiliated with the administration-backed coalition Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
The results reflect voter preferences three weeks ahead of election day, providing insight into who could potentially make it to the Senate’s “Magic 12.”
