Bong Go leads Pulse Asia senatorial survey for May 2025 elections

Re-electionist Senator Christopher “Bong” Go emerged as the top choice for the Senate in the latest Pulse Asia survey released on Thursday. The February survey showed that Go secured a 58.1 percent voter preference, making him the frontrunner among 64 candidates.

ACT-CIS Party-List Representative Erwin Tulfo followed closely behind with 56.5 percent, placing both in the first and second spots. The poll also indicated that 13 candidates had a statistical chance of winning if elections were held last month.

Among the other top contenders were former Senate President Vicente Sotto III (49%), Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. (46.1%), Senator Ronald dela Rosa (44.3%), and television host Willie Revillame (42.3%). Also making the list were Ben Tulfo, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, Senator Manuel Lapid, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Pia Cayetano, Las Piñas City Representative Camille Villar, and former Senator Panfilo Lacson.

Pulse Asia noted that most of the probable winners are either incumbent or former lawmakers and are aligned with the administration’s “Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

The survey also found that only 38 percent of voters had a complete Senate slate with 12 weeks to go before the elections. Meanwhile, 83 percent of respondents had a preferred party-list, with ACT-CIS, Senior Citizens, Tingog, Uswag Ilonggo, and 4Ps leading the race for House seats.
