Gwen Apuli, a member of the P-pop group BINI, recently called on fans to respect the group’s privacy, revealing that some individuals have gone as far as knocking on their room doors just to ask for photos.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, Aug. 14, Gwen expressed her disappointment, noting that the situation has worsened. “Nakakalungkot, palala na [nang] palala,” she wrote, urging fans to respect their personal time and privacy.
Gwen emphasized that while the group appreciates the love and support from their fans, boundaries must be respected. “We always try na mapagbigyan kayo sa pagpa-picture but please, not to the point you’ll go knock [on] our rooms just for a picture. Thank you,” she added.
Gwen’s fellow BINI members, Colet Vergara and Aiah Arceta, echoed her sentiments, sharing her message on their respective X pages. Aiah highlighted the importance of personal space for the group’s well-being, noting that a well-rested BINI brings renewed energy to their performances.
Aiah also expressed gratitude to fans who have been respectful of their space, especially in light of a previous incident where a man invaded her personal space at a bar in Cebu.
