Filipino groups BINI and SB19 are set to be honored at the upcoming Billboard Korea “K Power 100” event, as confirmed by Billboard Philippines on Friday. The recognition comes just after SB19’s fanbase, A’TIN, secured the top spot in the 2024 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off.
Both groups have been selected to receive the Voices of Asia Award, which acknowledges their significant contributions to Filipino music and their efforts in promoting P-pop on a global scale. In addition to receiving the award, BINI and SB19 will also perform at the event. SB19 is expected to deliver their hit song “GENTO,” while BINI will perform their popular track “Cherry On Top.”
The Billboard K Power 100, an event celebrating the impact of Korean music on the global stage, will take place on August 27 at the Yeong Bin Gwan Hall of THE SHILLA Seoul.
