Billy Crawford takes legal action over online death hoax

Actress Coleen Garcia-Crawford, the wife of singer and TV host Billy Crawford, recently disclosed that Billy has initiated legal measures against those responsible for spreading a false death hoax about him.

In an interview with Philstar.com during Tiffany & Co.’s Christmas tree lighting event in Makati City, Coleen expressed her disappointment over the baseless rumor that circulated online, falsely claiming Billy’s demise.

“It’s just really sad that some people are so disrespectful,” Coleen commented.

She recounted that their family was in high spirits following a positive trip abroad when they encountered the shocking hoax. “We came back from a trip feeling so good. There’s so much love and respect for Billy in France, and it’s disheartening that as soon as we returned, we saw that. It makes you question why some people in our own country behave this way.”

Despite the incident, Coleen reassured that they are moving past it. “I believe he (Billy) is already taking legal action against the people who posted,” she confirmed.

Billy, Coleen, and their son Amari have been dividing their time between Manila and France as Billy resumes his international music career.
