Singer Beyoncé has joined efforts to support families affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Through her foundation, BeyGOOD, she has pledged $2.5 million (Dh9 million) to assist families in rebuilding their lives. The funds will primarily help those in Altadena and Pasadena, areas severely impacted by the fires. The initiative also extends support to churches and community centers to address immediate needs.
BeyGOOD, founded in 2013, is one of several organizations contributing to relief efforts. The Walt Disney Company has pledged $15 million, while Paramount, Fox Corp., Warner Music, and the Blavatnik Foundation have collectively committed millions more to aid recovery and rebuilding.
Actor Jamie Lee Curtis also announced a $1 million donation through her Family Foundation, emphasizing the ongoing efforts of first responders and the resilience of affected communities. Curtis shared her support in an Instagram post, highlighting the need for continued assistance.
