A Filipino band known for filling arenas and streaming charts will bring its music to one of Dubai’s busiest cultural attractions next month, with Ben&Ben confirmed to appear at Global Village on February 7.
The group is scheduled to take the main stage at 9 p.m., where audiences can expect selections from a catalog that spans multiple studio releases, including Limasawa Street and Pebble House Volume 1: Kuwaderno. The performance forms part of Global Village’s ongoing entertainment lineup for the current season.
Formed in Manila and initially performing under the name The Benjamins, the band is led by twin brothers Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico, who share lead vocal duties while playing acoustic guitar. Over time, the ensemble expanded into a nine-member group, now featuring electric guitar, violin, keyboards, percussion, bass guitar, and drums as part of its live setup.
Beyond its instrumentation, the group has built a following through concerts that emphasize emotional storytelling, often drawing from personal experiences while touching on broader social themes. Their sound blends folk and pop elements, anchored by lyrics that focus on connection, resilience, and introspection.
In an interview published last year, the band reflected on how shared experiences have shaped their work and relationships. “We have so many experiences that are intertwined, and it’s been the greatest honour to witness each other grow,” they said. “We are able to create freely and make music that speaks to who we are now. There are no limits as long as we make it together.”
