Filipino indie folk pop band Ben&Ben had another memorable encounter with Ed Sheeran—this time at the OFFLIMITS Music Festival held in Abu Dhabi, where they shared the stage with the global icon along with other acts like Kaiser Chiefs and OneRepublic.
The meeting came a little over a year after their first interaction in Manila, when Ben&Ben joined Sheeran as a special guest during his + – = ÷ x Tour in March 2024. This time around, frontman Paolo Guico shared how the British superstar once again left a lasting impression—not just with his talent but with his warmth.
“He remembered meeting us in Manila and how great it was to perform for Filipinos,” Guico said. “It’s always an honor exchanging stories with him.”
Ahead of the festival, Ben&Ben also paid tribute to Sheeran by posting a cover of his new single Azizam, which the artist later reposted on his Instagram story.
Sheeran is currently promoting his upcoming album Play, set for release on 12 September. His latest single Old Phone dropped earlier this month, marking the beginning of a fresh musical chapter.
