In the video, Bea is seen responding with laughter to a remark made by Julia, suggesting a convivial atmosphere between the two. However, despite the apparent friendliness displayed, some social media users have raised doubts, questioning the authenticity of their interaction.
Commenting on the video, one user remarked, “If this is recent, just wow. time heals nga naman. They will never forget but you can see how genuine they are, plastikan? We don’t know what happened behind closed doors, tbh,” while another echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Plastikan lang yan, alangan naman magsabunutan diba?”
The cordiality displayed in the video contrasts with the ongoing feud between the actresses. The conflict originated when Bea Alonzo alleged that her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson had “ghosted” her, with subsequent rumors suggesting a relationship between Gerald and Julia.
Amidst the speculation, eagle-eyed social media users noted Bea’s ‘like’ on an Instagram picture featuring Gerald and Julia, fueling further controversy. Bea later appeared on Tonight With Boy Abunda, asserting that she and Gerald were not separated at the time of the alleged infidelity, a claim countered by Gerald himself in a separate interview.
Julia, often depicted as the third party in Bea and Gerald’s split, defended herself against cheating allegations in a now-deleted Instagram post. Accusing Bea of bullying her, Julia denounced the promotion of “social media irresponsibility” and refused to play the victim.
While Julia and Gerald confirmed their relationship in 2021, Bea began dating Dominic Roque. However, on February 11, 2024, Bea and Dominic announced the end of their engagement.
