A new phase of Batang PBA Middle East’s regional rollout has taken shape following two separate developments that strengthen both its operational reach and institutional backing in Qatar. Organizers confirmed the signing of a formal agreement with a media partner while also securing direct support from national basketball leadership in the host country.
Batang PBA Middle East has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with DT Produqtion, establishing a collaboration focused on documenting and distributing the program’s activities across the Middle East and beyond. The partnership is intended to provide consistent visual and editorial coverage, ensuring that tournaments, milestones, and participant stories are professionally captured and shared with a wider audience.
Separately, program leaders met with officials from the Qatar Basketball Federation as part of ongoing coordination ahead of Batang PBA Middle East activities in Doha. The meeting included Saadoun Sabah Al-Kuwari, who serves as Secretary General of the federation and Director of the National Teams, and centered on aligning objectives related to youth development and cross-border participation.
Organizers described the engagement with QBF as a show of institutional confidence in Batang PBA Middle East’s mission to provide structured basketball opportunities for overseas Filipino youth. With federation-level support in place, the initiative is positioned to operate within a broader basketball ecosystem while maintaining its focus on community-based development.
The twin developments—formalized media coverage and federation engagement—come as Batang PBA Middle East continues preparations for its upcoming programs in Qatar, reinforcing its goal of expanding access, visibility, and organizational stability for Filipino youth basketball in the region.
