Imelda Forteza, mother of actress Barbie Forteza, shared a cryptic message on Instagram following Barbie’s announcement of her breakup with actor Jak Roberto after seven years together.
In her now-expired Instagram Story, Imelda posted a quote that appeared edited. “No one knows how much you went through this year, but you stayed strong and didn’t quit,” the original text read. However, Imelda crossed out the last two letters of “didn’t,” leaving it to seemingly read as “did.”
She added, “I’M SO PROUD OF YOU,” sparking speculation from social media users about the intended message.
The post did not explicitly reference anyone, but its timing led many to connect it to Barbie and Jak’s recent split.
Barbie confirmed their breakup on January 2 through an Instagram post featuring photos of the two. “Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years… Your love was exceptional. But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together,” she wrote, also wishing Jak well.
Jak has yet to comment on the breakup as of this writing.
