A Bangladeshi resident in Dubai is now Dh20 million richer after winning the grand prize in the latest Big Ticket Abu Dhabi raffle held on Monday, March 3.
Jahangir Alom secured the top prize with ticket number 134468, which he purchased on February 11. During the live draw, hosts Richard and Bouchra tried calling him twice to share the exciting news but were unable to reach him. They assured viewers they would keep trying and joked that any friends of Jahangir watching should hold off on informing him to let the Big Ticket team deliver the surprise.
Adding a special twist to the moment, February’s Dh15-million winner, Ashik Patinharath, returned exactly one month after his win to draw the winning ticket.
