A Bangladeshi expatriate has won Dh1 million in the weekly electronic draw of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi. Mohammed, a 56-year-old driver based in Ras Al Khaimah, achieved this remarkable feat alongside 18 of his friends.
Mohammed and his friends have been participating in the Big Ticket draws for a year, buying tickets each month. Their persistence paid off when Mohammed, during a special promotion, purchased tickets under the ‘buy 2, get 2 free’ offer. Out of the four tickets they acquired, it was one of Mohammed’s selections that hit the jackpot.
Upon winning, Mohammed expressed his intention to share the prize with his group and possibly invest in a new house in Bangladesh for his family. “I might buy a new house in Bangladesh for my children,” he said, contemplating his newfound fortune.
The excitement around Big Ticket Abu Dhabi continues to grow, with the announcement that all ticket purchasers this month are eligible to win Dh20 million in the next live draw. Additionally, participants are automatically entered into the weekly electronic draw, where another Dh1 million prize awaits a lucky winner.
The organisers of Big Ticket have scheduled the grand live draw for December 31 at 2 pm. This event promises to be a major attraction, with a grand prize of Dh20 million and 12 other lucrative rewards, including two dream cars – a BMW 430I and a Range Rover Velar.
